ANDI Technical Open Circuit Courses

Level 1 - Limited SafeAir User Course - This course is designed for the beginning divers who would like to extend there dive time. The student will learn how to dive with 32 & 36% oxygen mixtures.

Level 2 - Complete SafeAir User - For the more advanced students they will learn how to dive with the "Optimal Breathing Gas". The student will be introduced to different equipment and gases used that the more experienced technical dive use.

Level 3 - Technical SafeAir Diver - This is the first true level of technical diving courses. The student will be trained to do decompression dives to 50 meters with the decompression not exceeding 30 minutes. The students will be trained to dive with double tanks, decompression tanks, reels, lift bags etc.

Level 4 - Extended Range Diver - Exploration diving is the topic of level of diving. The depth limits is 50 minutes however more equipment will be added to the dive. Decompression is unlimited during this training.

Level 5 - Trimix Diver - Diving beyond 40 meters the diver starts to get closer to the oxygen and nitrogen limits. The student will be shown the proper dive planning on how to use helium to offset the 02 and Nitrogen problems. Students will be qualified to 100 meters after completion of this course.

Technical Trimix Diver - The prerequisites of this course the diver must be level 3 TSD qualified. A great course for those who feel the need to reduce the nitrogen narcosis on there dives. For those that are Technical Wreck or cave qualified and diving in overheads deeper then 30 meters this will increase there safety greatly.

Technical Wreck Diver - This is a course for level 3 and above. The students will learn the proper procedures on how to penetrate a wreck. The student will learn about "progressive familiarization" and also proper line laying techniques.

Certified Gas Blending - For those working in facilities offering SafeAir and Trimix fills here is your chance to learn how to mix these. This course has one of the best Gas blending manuals written on the market.

Certified Service Technician - If your interests are in repairing equipment we can teach you how to properly service tanks, regulators that are used for SafeAir and Trimix fills.

All courses are available at Instructor level also. Please check pricelist for Diver and Instructor level prices.
