About Pattaya

Pattaya ... the world famous holiday resort located on the eastern coastline of Thailand's exotic Gulf of Siam, is approximately 90 miles (145 km) south of the capital city of Bangkok. Travel time from the airport ranges from 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on type of transport ... such as private car, taxi, or air-conditioned bus.

One-way fare by taxi is about Baht 1,500 - Baht 1,800. If you're on a tight budget, take the VIP air-conditioned bus for Baht 130.00. A map of Pattaya can be found here.

Once you've arrived in Pattaya, getting around is easy and cheap. The common form of transport is the Baht bus, a converted pick-up truck with a covered back and seats to accommodate about 10 persons. The fare within the Pattaya city area is an amazing Baht 5 - 10! These "buses" are plentiful and operate 24-hours a day. You never have to wait more than a minute or two for the next one to come along. Rental cars, jeeps and motorcycles of all styles are also available for the more adventurous. Prices are very reasonable compared to worldwide standards.

Pattaya is easily Thailand's best value-for-money vacation destination. The money you save on accommodations, food and other expenses goes a long way towards providing more of what you came here to do ... DIVE ... DIVE ... DIVE!

Pattaya offers a vast range of accommodations to fit any budget.

Seafari would be glad to assist you with hotel accommodations needs as per your desire. Just let us know your budget and preferences.

Food is another great feature of our resort. There are restaurants here to cater to every taste and budget. You can find almost any type of international cuisine as well as all of the more well-known fast food places. Of course, Thai food is usually the most popular among visitors, as the range and amazing tastes can satisfy even the most unadventurous.

Pattaya is a prolific "Disneyland" of nightlife, shopping, many different sports and other entertainment ... and Seafari sits right in the middle of it! The dive center is only 50 yards from the beach and just a short walk from many surrounding hotels, guesthouses and "round-the-clock" entertainment areas. The best way to see the sights is to take a stroll along the beautifully landscaped beach promenade.

Last, but not least, we must remind you that Thailand is known as the Land Of Smiles. The Thai people are known as one of the most gracious in the world ... and everyone smiles all the time! It truly makes you feel welcome!

This is THE place to spend a memorable vacation! You'll go home saying: "This is the best I've ever had!!"
