In the past 20 years, most of the newly qualified PADI Instructors in Thailand, received some, if not all of their training under Bill. Many of the present Course Directors throughout Southeast Asia got a helping hand from ol' Bill. So, as an old proverb goes, if experience is the best teacher, we've got more than 30 years of it!

In 1996 Bill, supported by a very professional Seafari staff, was awarded PADI's prestigious OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (Reference the PADI Undersea Journal, Second Quarter 1997, page 72). Many of Seafari's former students are now Course Directors and Instructor Examiners!
