PADI Discover Scuba Diving

The PADI Discover Scuba/ Discover Scuba Diving programs let you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Instructor in pool or pool like conditions, such as those found at a resort. During your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills and might even head off on an open water.

Seafari conducts a free introduction program daily at most major hotels in Pattaya. Guests are welcome to try this approximate ten-minute try-out. Our highly trained PADI Instructor adjusts all the equipment while the participant stands in the shallow end of the pool. He then explains some simple theory, shows how to equalize the ears, how to clear any water that may seep into the mask and then guides the prospective diver to the deep end of the pool and back. Minimum age 10 years, maximum ... well we haven't hit 100 years yet!! This free experience can be applied to the next course level so you can continue with your scuba training.

Summary:	This exciting program allows anyone over 10 to safely experience the thrill and excitement of breathing underwater - diving both in a pool/off the beach and also from a boat at some of Pattaya's finest dive sites. During this course our instructor's will allow you to become familiar with diving, diving equipment and give you and introduction to the amazing life in the underwater world. You have nothing to loose in this program - you are sure to enjoy your experience and thrill of the underwater world in the perfect water conditions in the Gulf of Thailand!
Content:	With your instructor you will master some basic diving concepts and skills in the pool or shallow water just off the beach, before heading off on two open water dive in the sea, allowing you to witness a great variety of marine life, including turtles and rays. You will discover excitement and adventure - freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the "weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling!
Prerequisites:	10 years old and above
Includes:	Instructor fees, Rental of scuba equipment, Round trip hotel transfers, PADI fees, Lunch and refreshments on the dive trip.
Maximum Depth:	12 meters.
Certification:	As soon as you complete the Discover Scuba Diving Experience, you're on your way to an internationally recognized certification. That's because you may learn skills from the PADI Open Water Diver course during your Discover Scuba Diving adventure. If you and your instructor elect to practice these skills, they may be credited to the PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certifications
