The Bremen Wreck
Dive the Bremen Wreck with Seafari Dive Center
Saturday 23rd October 2010
Advanced divers only
Come and join us for fun day out on one of Pattaya's least dived wrecks.
The Bremen wreck is fairly shallow at 22m, but the location of the wreck is know for its very strong currents even if the Tide tables say otherwise. For this reason we will only be taking divers with a minimum of Advanced Open Water certification or Advanced students. Sorry no passengers or snorkellers.
Because we rarely get the opportunity to dive this wreck we have decided to make it a 3 dive day with 2 dives on the Bremen followed by a coral dive. The PetchburiBremen, lies in approximately (18-22 meters) of water. A fire in the engine room buckled the side-plates and it sank slowly to the bottom, settling upright on it's keel. Normally we need zero current for the duration of the dive trip to make the day a safe and enjoyable one.
Meet at Seafari at 7 am. Check all equipment and taxi to the boat. Return to Pattaya 6pm
Hotel pick up in the Pattaya area, snacks, lunch, all equipment, 3 cylinders.

Cost
3,500 Baht, 3 dives,Nitrox extra.

Philippine Trips
Ever dived in the Philippines?
November 2010 12nd - 19th
April 2011 14th- 21st
Why not join us on our bi annual trip to the beautiful Island of Puerto Galera. During November and April of each year we travel over to the Philippines and head down to the Sabang beach resort to dive in the pristine waters off of Puerto Galera. Flights to and from, accommodation and diving are all very reasonable that’s why we can offer this trip at such a great price.

Arrive Sabang 12:15 12th November

Afternoon intro dive on Sabang house reef.
Puerto Galera offers more or less 40 prime dive sites. The sites are between 5 meters to 40 meters depth and the water temperature is ranging between 26 - 29 Degrees Centigrade. Since Puerto Galera is considered as warm water diving area 3mm thick wet suits are the norm. The tide exchange is from a few centimeters up to 2 meters. The selection of the dive sites depends on the tidal exchange and the slack tides, which is an important part of the dive planning.
Big fishes like White tip Sharks, Barracudas, Tunas, even Eagle Rays, Turtles can be seen on selected dive sites like the popular Canyons, Shark Caves, Boulders, especially so on a drift dive during big tide exchanges.
On the house reef wreck, thriving fish life like batfish, angelfish, surgeonfish, wrasses, butterfly fish and other reef dwellers are already more than enough for a 36 exposure film. Aside from rarely seen exotic fishes like Spanish Dancer, harlequin ghost-pipefish and at least 5 different colors of camouflaged frogfish, fire gobies and blue-ribbon eels.
It is highly recommended for underwater photographers and marine biologists and enthusiasts alike since it has a lot to offer like the varied species of soft corals, gorgonians, crinoids, colorful sponges and turnicates, crustaceans and shrimps, not to mention the most popular invertebrate subject amongst MACRO-PHOTOGRAPHERS, which has various colors, shapes and sizes the "NUDRIBRANCHS". The house reef alone can already satisfy the urge to shoot various subjects for underwater photographers.

Diving in Pattaya

Seafari was the first scuba diving operation to open in Pattaya and one of the first in Thailand. Founded by Bill Burbridge back in 1970, it's still actively serving scuba divers from all over the world. If experience is "the best teacher", we've got more than 35 years of diving Thailand and that certainly says something!
Seafari was the first registered PADI dive facility in Thailand, the first PADI 5-Star dive center and, after much hard work and determination to meet the high standards required, the first 5-Star Instructor Development Center (IDC) in Thailand. So our history speaks for it's self!

Here at Seafari we focus fun coupled with safety to ensure you have the most enjoyable time whilst diving with us. We offer a full range of courses and trips so if you're looking to take your first splash or wanting to head right the way through to being a diving professional we can help.
If excitement is what you're looking for then why not sign up one of the various cave diving courses on offer here at Seafari.
